Many of us are coffee addicts, and coffee makers are our best friends!  Every time we feel like sipping coffee, no problem with a coffee maker.

So what are the best ways of choosing your ideal coffee maker?  First you need to look at the quality of the coffee maker you are interested in, after all you want it to last for many cups of coffee!  A good way of finding out the quality is to read some reviews of people that have purchased one already.

You also need to find the best coffee filter – some coffee makers come with basket type filters, others have a cone shaped filter.  According to the experts the difference between the two is to do with the time the coffee is in contact with the water, with the basket type of filter providing a longer contact time.  A filter that is cone shaped is less likely to be spilled.

Then look at the color of your coffee maker, although really this is not to do with finding the best coffee maker, as the color will not make a difference to the cup of coffee!  However, if you chose a coffee maker in a color you adore you are more likely to think that it will product a better cup of coffee – it’s purely phsycological I know.

Does the coffee machine have an attached grinder.  If you want one with a grinder attached then go for a grinder that has a blade or a burr grinder – coffee beans do not always grind uniformly in other types of grinders.

Last thing is to look at the price.  There are so many coffee makers on the market at the moment so price could well be your deciding factor.
